The repertoire can move from smoky and slow to playful, swinging and groove-heavy without losing the thread.

Jen Anders originals and collaborative material sit alongside standards and reimagined favorites whenever they fit the musical world of the project.

Some songs arrive already wearing blues or jazz clothes. Others get rearranged until they do.

Either way, the goal is the same: make the song sound lived-in rather than reproduced.
